Noughties pop fans have a major reunion to look forward to as Hear’Say and Liberty X are joining forces for a UK and Ireland arena tour in 2027. The tour, titled “Popstars: The Originals,” marks 25 years since the groups emerged from the hit ITV reality show Popstars.

The joint tour will give fans the chance to see the two groups perform together on the same stage for the first time. The shows will feature some of the biggest songs associated with both acts and are expected to appeal strongly to fans who grew up with early-2000s British pop.

When does the Hear’Say and Liberty X tour start?

The 2027 tour is scheduled to begin in April 2027, with the first currently listed show taking place at the Bournemouth International Centre on April 20. The tour will then continue through major UK and Irish arenas, including dates in Nottingham, Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle, London and Liverpool.

The London performance will take place at The O2 arena on May 7, 2027. The O2 currently lists the event as “on sale soon,” with tickets scheduled to become available through AXS.

The tour is expected to play 13 arena dates, with the combined audience across the shows projected to exceed 150,000 fans.

When do tickets go on sale?

For fans hoping to attend, the key date is Friday, October 16, 2026, at 9am BST, when general ticket sales are scheduled to open.

Some venues are also offering presale opportunities before the general sale. For example, Bournemouth International Centre has listed a subscriber presale for October 15 at 9am, while Glasgow's OVO Hydro has announced presale dates beginning October 14.

Ticketmaster is also listing the general sale for several tour dates at 9am BST on October 16.

Fans should check the individual venue or official ticketing partner before buying, as presale eligibility, prices and availability can differ between locations.

Which Hear’Say members are returning?

The reunion will not feature the complete original Hear’Say lineup.

Danny Foster, Kym Marsh, Suzanne Shaw and Noel Sullivan are confirmed to return for the tour. Myleene Klass, one of the group's original members, will not be joining the shows.

Klass explained this week that she had been included in early discussions but could not commit to the tour because of her existing schedule. She has not ruled out the possibility of being involved in the future.

Hear’Say originally formed after winning ITV's Popstars in 2000. The group went on to become one of the most recognisable British pop acts of the early 2000s before splitting in 2002.

Is the original Liberty X lineup returning?

Yes. Unlike Hear’Say, Liberty X will return with all five original members.

The lineup for the tour includes:

  • Michelle Heaton
  • Jessica Taylor
  • Tony Lundon
  • Kevin Simm
  • Kelli Young

Liberty X were formed from contestants who had taken part in Popstars but were not selected for the winning group that became Hear’Say. The two acts therefore have a particularly close connection to the reality-TV series that helped launch their careers.

Their joint reunion is being promoted as a celebration of the era that helped establish reality TV as a major route into the British music industry.

Where should fans buy tickets?

Fans should use official venue websites and authorised ticketing partners rather than unverified resale websites.
